Here you'll find a list of the Top 10 downloads from this site. When reviewing the charts please remember that they are site specific and a number of factors will contribute to the download popularity including:
- The game's popularity
- The reputation of the gamebox and/or author
- How new the gamebox is
- How widely available the gamebox is
- How much we have promoted the posting of the gamebox

May 2008
| Position | Gamebox | Author | Downloads |
| 1 | Afrika II | Michael Mandelberg | 46 |
| 2 | 1914:Twilight in the East | Peter Bennett | 38 |

| 10 | Stalingrad | Terry Maciw | 17 |
| 10 | Successors | Mal Atherton | 17 |
Michael's 'Afrika II' gamebox is this month's comfortable winner but, considering it's huge size, Peter's '1914' gamebox proved popular too - hope the download didn't take too long folks. Barry's 'Triumph of Chaos' did very well for an update; coming in at number three. Not entirely surprising considering the huge popularity of the original version. The biggest surprises for me are Howard's 'North Africa Quad' and Karoly's 'Napoleon's LastBattles'. I wonder why these gameboxes, uploaded in December 07 and January 08, repectively, are suddenly so popular?

A quite incredible Top 10 this month. For the first time no entry received less than 30 downloads. There are only 10 downloads between 1st and 10th position. It features 4 ties. Daryl and Andre have multiple enries. Congratulations to everyone that made it in to possible the hardest fought Top 10 ever - and especially to Mal and Daryl for securing top slot.
February 2008
Unfortunately the access log was a casualty of February's server move and as a result there is no Top 10 this month - sorry.
January 2008
| Position | Gamebox | Author | Downloads |
| 1 | World in Flames FE/DoD/Patton in Flames | Manuel Perez Ron | 45 |
| 2 | Hannibal - Rome v Carthage | Roberto Ullfig | 25 |

| 9 | Highway to the Reich | Howard Divins | 18 |
| 9 | La Vallee del la Mort | Greg Hunter | 18 |
| 9 | Pacific Fleet | Karoly Szigetvari | 18 |
Manuel leads by a country mile - just has he did in last year's overall chart - but look how close the rest of the chart is! If one of the 7th place entries had had one additional download, the table from 2nd place down would have ben sequential.
Howard is our top performer based on the number of entries.
Dreadnought, HTTR and Pacific Fleet are the only entries that didn't feature in the January uploads. Pacific Fleet was actually uploaded in Feb 2007 and I'd be interested in any theories as to why there was a sudden resurgence of interest in this gamebox.

2006's Top Ten of Top Tens. Some interesting points:
- Last years's number 1(Triumph of Chaos) had 273 downloads (whilst in the charts). This year's, World in Flames FE+, has 333.
- Both Triumph of Chaos and World in Flames FE also appeared in last year's chart.
- The Top 4 slots are held by gameboxes that have been updated by their authors.
- Barry Setser is the only person (other than Limey Yank Games) to have had moe than a single entry in the annual Top Ten - and he's done it two years running.
Congratulations to everyone who got a gamebox into the top ten in 2007 and especially to those who made it into the annual top ten!

2006's Top Ten of Top Tens. Some intersting points:
- Both Triumph of Chaos and Franco-Prussian War were in the Top 10 for no less than 7 months in 2006
- Dreadnought has featured in the chart for 4 years running (and was number 1 for two of them)
- 33 year seperate the publication of the games in first and second place - so it is not only new titles that attract CB interest
- Every position in this year's Top 10 had more downloads than its equivalent 2005 position
Congratulations to everyone who got a gamebox into the top ten in 2006 and especially to those who made it into the annual top ten!

A phenomenal performance by Napoleon at the Crossroads. Not only has it set a new download record (the previous was 98), it did it in just 6 days! Which is really sad since we had to withdraw it when OSG became concerned that the number of downloads was far outstripping requests for scenario files (which they held) - they took this as an indication (not without some justification) that this was indicative of a high level of downloading by non-owners.

Interesting to see Bruce's TLD back in the charts for the first time since December 2004. And the Franco-Prussian War appears to be a topic of interest. Congratulations of course to Barry for resecuring the No. 1 slot.

Well done to Barry Setser for being the only person from last month's chart to retain a place in this month's Top Ten. Manuel's Number 1 might be a little contentious due to it being linked by two titles, but even if they accounted for half the downloads each, it would have been good enough to secure two positions in the top half of the chart.

Even though he missed the No. 1 slot, I think we have to agree that April's Chart is Andre van Gils' chart! And finally Dreadnought leaves the chart (it just missed out with 20 downloads) after a continuous presence since the first chart in Novemner 2003 - I knew I should have got my finger out with version 2!!

2005's Top Ten of Top Tens. Some intersting points:
- Dreadnought is number 1 for the second year running - though I suspect DAK will give it a run for its money in 2006!
- Dreadnought has been in the annual top ten since 2003.
- Ardennes '44 was also in last year's top ten, and has moved up a place this year.
- Dreadnought has been in the chart every month this year.
- DAK has been in the chart every month since it was submitted.
- DAK has the highest download in a single mont in 2005 with 53 downloads in July.
Congratulations to everyone who got a gamebox into the top ten in 2005 and especially to those who made it into the annual top ten!

Yank said to expect a lot of churn in the chart with the number set of additions we made in June - he wasn't wrong. Only one of last month's chart entries remains - and that is the former number 1. And what a healthy number of downloads. A definite naval flavour this month with 5 of the top ten being naval games.

Goodness knows where last month's comment that it was the first full double-digit Top Ten came from! We achieved that at least a year ago - oh well. What's interesting is that old stalwarts that have been around for many many years (at this site and others) continue to feature so heavily in the Top Ten. Believe it or not there is even a CB V1 gamebox in this month's list - can you spot it?

A lot of new activity on the Top Ten chart this month. It could be argued that Dreadnought should be number 1 this month, with over 1500 downloads! However all but 16 of them were from a single IP address. Needless to say, regardless of whether it was a denial of service attack (which I doubt) or incompetent use of the internet, the individual is now banned from the site. If it was you send me an email and we'll get you reinstated.
The other interesting fact is that October's intervention by OSG, which saw a temporary removal of their gameboxes, appears to have boosted the downloads for those games; proving that there is no such thing as bad publicity.
Unfortunately you'll no longer find some of the this month's Top 10 on the site since they've been removed for containing unapproved scanned images.

Apologies but for some reason I appeared to be missing the first six days' records for August so this chart is incomplete. But it still covers the majority of the month. Curt Cilia's Terrible Swift Sword retains the Number 1 slot, only the second time a gamebox has done this since Bruce Denny's 'Wellington's Victory'.
